Persons interested in careers in criminal justice will receive theoretical and practical information in the program. Criminal justice is becoming increasingly complex and important. Today's criminal justice employees must be trained to meet the challenges of our changing society. The Criminal Justice Studies Program courses, as well as support and general education courses, will prepare the student for a position as a law enforcement officer (state, county, municipal), correctional officer, juvenile detention officer, police dispatcher, or many other occupational areas in the criminal justice system. Law Enforcement Basic Jail Academy Certificate Law Enforcement Basic Recruit Academy Technical Diploma
BTC Career Services helps students explore careers, prepare for the job application process and find current opportunities. BTC offers resume writing, mock interviews, job search techniques, and internships, when available.
Blackhawk Technical College provides free tutoring services to credit students enrolled at the college. We offer online, open lab and peer tutoring. Also counseling services are available.

Refunds are processed according to the Wisconsin Technical College System Refund Policy for program, material and activity fees. To receive refunds, you must formally request refunds from Registration and Records by notifying them of your intent to drop a class(es) or completely withdraw from all classes. Requests for refunds must be received during the same term of enrollment. Refund requests are time-sensitive as each day that passes may affect the amount of refund you are eligible.
